Amazing shots... The baby shots are very cute and you captured them perfectly.... Is that owl blind / blinking / heterochrome?

Mike....'engaging'...that is exactly the word that describes what I try to do with zoo photos. thank you for your comments...I feel like I am achieving what I am trying to do.....

Andi, yes he is blind. the poor fellow. He can do everything except hunt due to the lack of stereoscopic vision. So, he has to be fed.

The first seven shots are indoor exhibits with poor lighting...the place was crowded, but not many go into these in door exhibits. I never did with my K10D either....with the relatively higher iso capabilities of the K-7 I ventured to places where I never dared before.
