These sure scream Rockies! I was born and raised in them over on the Idaho side. Sure takes me back even though I have never been to the particular places you shared with us. I gotta convince the wife to get her lazy butt into some hiking shoes and drag her and the dog though some real hills to enjoy and hopefully share like you did. Thanks for sharing. Love the shots!

very nice capture Dave, i really like the 2nd and 3rd frames, the break on the sky w/ the jet stream makes the shot interesting on the 2nd frame and the different shades
of blue on the 3rd shot looks wonderful.

Lovely series, Dave! #2, #3 and #8 (fisheye!) are my favorites. The different blues in #3 really are something. I could look at this whole series for days.

Thanks Rene - as Marc put so well the atmospheric condition were optimal for this kind of shot.

Thanks Dan it was and alway is hard to leave that area. Well once the snow comes I could manage haha assuming the roads are open

Beautiful shots Dave, the third one really caught my eye. It's outstanding.

You and Heinrich are making me feel guilty for not taking more opportunities to spend time there since it is so close.

Thanks Scott I hear ya that was only the second time this year for me. I do try and get out once in the summer and once in the winter still like you said with them being so close one should get out a little more oftern.
