Despite the well-known truth of "where's no light, there's no photography" I was always attracted to taking shots at nighttime. Thought I would share few shots I made on my way home after rain at night. All taken hand-held with no flash, ISO 800, 55mm@F1.2.

Experimenting with extremely thin DOF is fun.
These abstracts have worked quite well.

I really like these images. Wow, a 1.2 aperture, now that's fast. The only criticism I have is with the first image. I think the image would be stronger if the flower was more in focus and the surrounding elements- those beautiful OOF circles of light would really make the image sing.
