Camden Town Wildlife
Posted By: mel, 09-06-2009, 04:42 PM

I don't post much here because with my oh-so-speedy dial-up connection it's a royal pain in the keister. My workplace has highspeed (duh) but all these types of sites (including flickr, where my images are sitting online) are banned from use. Sigh. So with all the backing and forthing to post (and even the need for some bizarre reason to manually insert the html tags for posting), i don't post nearly so much as what I have on my flickr account.

Anyway, these are fun. Not the greatest in terms of quality and I kinda missed the precise focus on some (or all) but still. Fun. I thought I'd share some of the interesting and colorful fauna I observed on a recent trip to Camden town in London (hubby and I took a trip without the kiddies for something like the first time EVER, using points and miles).

Lest anyone think I'm making fun, let me say that I am the proud parent of a mohawk myself. But my poor son can't get naturally curly hair to stand up for him very well so often it's braided.

Thanks Jim. My eldest is currently sporting a mohawk. And yet he wonders why he can't get a better job. Good thing he has the economy to blame it on!
