Butterfly with the Tokina 500/8 mirror

Straight from the camera, also shown in The Mirror Lens Club.

Definitely not the best butterfly shot ever, and not even the best I made ever, but acceptable, isn't it?

DOF is so thin at close focus with this lens, but it's certainly sharp and you've done well.
Thanks for sharing - good to see results from these rare mirrors.

Ash, Scott, thank you! I find it very hard to make good photos with this lens, it probably has to do with my shaky hands and the very thin DOF....
