Different Lighting / Heron Shots
Posted By: Jimbo, 09-10-2009, 06:55 PM

Yesterday I posted Heron images on a cloudy and rainy day which gave, IMO richer colors then these shot in late afternoon today where the sun was out. Not sure which looks better but it is interesting how the same subject can change with lighting giving me all sorts of ideas in the future. Sorry for all the Heron shots guys! JIM

Got an Itch...

Looks like even a Heron needs to scratch.

Great images... and detail... thanks for posting.

(I like Heron shots, too.)

Cheers...

Thanks bud. I must have a crappy eye because everyone I like is never mentioned. I really like the first one and everyone else likes #2 or 3. This happens everytime I post shots though. Guess my tast is different then most! JIM

I hate them all especially # 1 there - I like the pose in #1 indeed the bird looks a little (well ok a LOT) less majestic in that one - kinda like a bad hair day shot.

Do you keep these things as pets in your back yard or something? You always seem to have great shots of these birds. I hardly ever see them around, but you've always got something on the go with these critters. Nice work as usual.
