Hi all. These are my first ever DSLR pictures (if I've managed to upload them!) taken with my week old K20D and the 18-55mm kit lens. They aren't in the same league as most posted images here but comments, suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated so I can improve my skills. Many thanks for looking, Dave.

I think you've done well for your first captures.
They're all sharp and detailed with interesting perspectives.
As you develop your skills with the camera, also get savvy with the computer for enhancing the photos to your liking...

that's the beauty with posting your first,its about excitement the thrill of your first pixs from a new camera as this documents and to build on with different composition and composures it's what you see and how you make others see it

I agree with Ash. Your ability for composition and subject matter is already very good. Learning how to create subtle WOW factor from post processing is something you will develop over time (and will change over time also for you).
