Mostly juvenile ibises being goofy, but some others mixed in.

That's an amazing collection of images.

A few questions if you have the time. Did that bird in the last few shots get that fish down or did he choke to death? Where did you take these images - in Florida I presume? Where these from the 400mm lens?

Nice. Your whole series is well done but those last two must be the most difficult to come up with on any given day. Well done!

wow, nicely done. The last two are killers. How the hell do they eat fish that size. I have seen Heron's do the same. JIM

Nope, he (I suspect it might be a she) was sitting on the bank a few minutes later looking happy when I walked by again so I guess it worked out.

Taken on Hilton Head Island, and yes, 400/5.6 as always.

Thanks. The Ibises do have a lot of personality. I forgot to post Larry, Moe and Curly:

Great series - love that last one ... You're lucky to have such a target rich environment... I tried to go birding today and ended up chasing bugs. Had fun though.

A whole bunch of very nice images, I think the very last one is the best and the poop shot is funny. Thanks for posting them.
