Fruitfly macro 5.2:1

Made with a reversed SMC-Takumar 35/3.5 on a fully extended (170mm) Pentax-Auto-Bellows. This little creature is only about 1mm long, and the photo is slightly cropped. Natural lighting, ISO400, 3" exposure. According to the booklet accompanying the Bellows, the magnification is 5.2:1...

Great stuff, I've never done macro and after looking at the cost of the Pentax gear, I figured I might give this DIY ringflash a shot

Thank you!! No, not frozen, I had to do just nothing. They are cooperative little critters, sitting still for a minute or more !

That is tiny.
