Great Horned Owl.

Here is an Owl that has setup shop in some woods near my house. It is very easily spooked. I could only get one shot off, and this was it.

Beautiful pic slugtaco.

I'm kinda wondering what lens you used, and if you did any post processing.

I'm not using my computer tonight, but on this screen it looks more like a painting than a photograph (and there's nothing wrong with that, it looks like a nice painting)

Pentax FA 100mm Macro

No photoshop, I did have to do some red eye though. It was pretty early in the morning so I used the flash, and I had some angry red eyes looking back at me.

Thanks for your comments.

I might go again tomorrow morning but I'll use a longer lens.

If you can only get one shot it is nice to have it turn out as well as this one did. Looks good!
