The cosina was just a tad to long. I think the 50 is still going to be too long, but I will manage I think.

I understand that. I am always amazed at what 5 or 10mm at the wide end does, compared to 100 at the long end. Does that make sense? There is a world of difference between my DA 40 and Fa 50. For me the cosina works because it is a 55mm, the same as the helios which has been on the camera a lot.
Also the 'A' will me a nice addition for you as well. And I am sure it will be better than the cosina... like butter!

I have wondered about the katzeye for these shallow lenses. How much of an improvement do you find it makes? Does the katzeye effect metering? And which version do you have? What features?
