had some time to look at some of my old files and saw some series on maybe i can process with what they say the gritty effect at pp...here are some of my tries....comments and critic are welcome

I like 'em, what did the subjects think, still throwing money at you I guess.

Bo, the portraiture is excellent, the PP work's also good, except IMO the 'gritty' look is overdone and unsuitable.
The colours seem a little off particularly in #3 and 5.
Lighting's just a tad too harsh in the first two causing unsightly clipped highlights.
But I do like your style of portraiture.

thanks kerr and ash....this is just an experiment i'm trying to do....hopefully will perfect this kind of processing....i do agree that its over in sharpening...just trying the different ways of processing though...
