Couple From Our UT Work Shop
Posted By: Jimbo, 09-21-2009, 09:55 AM

Ok, just got back from our Pentax Work Shop at Capital Reef and thought I would post a couple of images from our trip. I think I took over a 1000 pictures, so I have months of process work ahead of me. The trip was unbelieveable and worth every $$$ spent. Met some great folks that I have only known from this forum and I know we have made new and lasting friendships. The scenery was breath taking and really hard to put in words. I want to personally thank Marc for a job well done. First rate in my books! I would also like the thank the rest of the group for having to put up with me over the three days! Seems I need to get in shape.. Cheers and more to come

Thanks. Everyone who was at the work shop mentioned they had never seen clouds like these. The sky was so blue and clear too. I have so many more equal to these. Stay tuned. JIM

Jim - Those are fantastic! I was hoping you all would have some thunderstorms around for dramatic skies - looks like that worked out!

Edit: Just so you know, I love thunderstorms - us firefighters call those clouds, "Cumulonimbus-Overtimeus."

Thanks Jimbo, I agree that the photos were the bonus to the trip, we had the privalge to meet some increible individuals.

Grant, Anne, Ronda and I stopped by the Devils garden on the way to Zion, another incredible location well worth the drive just off hyway 12. it was a 14 mile drive on dirt road, the garden was just of the road. I will get some photos up some time tonight.

See you soon.

John
