A few from Southern Colorado on Saturday, near the small town of San Luis. The mountains in the last few are known as the "Sangre de Cristos." With a little knowledge of Spanish I'm sure you can figure out how they got their name.

Yeah, I definitely want to get back up there soon--since my cousin (the girl on the rock in the photo with the dogs in the water) owns seven acres there it should be quite possible.

Those are Norwegian Buhunds. Incredibly cute, smart, and energetic dogs.
