Came across a little Orb-Weaver...

...so I went and got the DFA 2.8 100 mm macro out.

These are scary enough with seeing the larger images Heinrich. Nice captures of these scary arachnids. Great details in the last one.

Nice shooting, Heinrich!
Looking at the first shot, I can see why it is called Cat-faced Orbweaver. ( I knew the name, but had never seen the face before; it's on the body of the spider). Thanks for sharing.

I thought it looked like it was smiling at me but knew nothing of the Cat-faced Orbweaver. Very educational and facinating shots. Thanks for posting Heeinrich!

Looks like you threw the flash at him. He was probably thinking if he was small as me, I can take him. Nice work, Heinrich.
