Cyber Goth on the Salt lake
Posted By: Warped, 09-23-2009, 05:03 AM

...... well it's not really a salt lake, just a dry, shallow lake bed with a really light grey powdery soil that looks like a salt lake.

Candy is a real Goth/Raver chick though (and very cool to work with), so the title is only a half lie

The rest of the set is here:

Cheers,

Wayne.

He does it again ladies and gentlemen....

These are great Wayne. Keep them coming! I like your use of the models in locations that contrast the Goth style so well.

Now if only there was a Goth style smiley to use for this post....

I like hear mini skirt, although long panties is a better description. Easy access? Yes. Reminds me of porno? Yes, yes. Cyber? I'm not seeing a computer.

The subject matter is very... unique.

Waikiki in Western Australia is a LONG way from the Burning Man festival!!

Lighting was tough to balance as it was not too long after midday and the sun is pretty harsh in this part of the world. Needed a polarising filter and to stop it down a bit to get some blue back in the sky, then a reflector to light up Candy.

The Fluffy boot covers were her own, pretty sure she made them herself along with the hair falls. We had this location pretty much too ourselves, but got some funny looks at the 2nd location we went to with a few more people around.

She could have been in Mad Max as well with her style and the background. Nice work!
1 minor critique since it's a model shot-and perhaps just my quirks-but the 2nd and 3rd images which are fine overall seem a little bit complicated by streamer showing through between her legs. Kind of messes up the otherwise clean image just a drop.

Was always a toss-up which images I'd pick out of the set to show because of the tassles/streamers. As a set they work to show a bit more moment and make the images more "alive", they gave a sense of the wind out on the lake bed that day.
But as stand alone images they can be distracting ... but hoped they weren't too distracting and there's enough of a vibrant and colourful feel to the shots to overcome that ..... at least that's what went through my head

Awesome - Love the whole series - Cyber Goth... Yeah I can see her on stage with Sushi K and Vitaly Chernobyl and the Meltdowns (I hope at least one person get's that reference ).

She must be quite happy with the results.
