Taking S-M-C Tak 35/3.5 out for a walk again
Posted By: Dubesor, 09-24-2009, 03:07 AM

I haven't really used this lens in a while, I usually gravitate between my RMC Tokina 28/2.8 and the SMC Tak 50/1.4 as my walkaround lenses (or other 50mm or 55mm primes). It's a pity though, cause it gives a pretty look - I'll have to show it more love.

Here are some shots from an early fall berry-picking expedition this last weekend:

1) Spider Guarding Berries. K20D, ISO 400, 1/30s:

2) Another Spider, Guarding Another Berry Bush. K20D, ISO 200, 1/60s:

3) Clearing in the Rainforest. I thought these ferns looked like dinosaurs. K20D, ISO 400, 1/500s:

4) Foliage time already. This one was taken from quite high up a tree, looking up into the canopy. K20D, ISO 200, 1/20s:

5) This was also during the tree climb. I like the way the hair looks here. K20D, ISO 500, 1/50s:

and a couple that aren't "Nature" per se, but taken with this lens when I finally picked it up again this week ...

6) Delicious homemade dessert. K20D, ISO 1600, 1/4s:

7) A strange juxtaposition I've added to my Urbanities project. K20D, ISO 200, 1/250s:
