I can see for miles and miles and miles

8 vertical shots, psd file is about 470mb jpg is about 60mb hand held (I think I took a few off the tripod not sure) only froze my computer once - T8300 2.4 GHZ dual core with 4 GB RAM (using xp so 3gb used)

Thanks Jim I was surpised at the size of jpg as well.

Thanks adamkean - it's not as difficult as you would imagine - the software (I use CS4) does a great job. The difficulty is lining up the shots and maintaining the same exposure (use AE-L and I changed mine to hold for 30 secs).
