Some waterfowl with the Tokina 500/8 mirror · 06:53 AM

Not the sharpest 500mm for sure, but sometimes I get some reasonable results with this lens. Focussing is extremely difficult because of the very (!!!) thin DOF. My new Manfrotto 144 tripod with 488RC2 ballhead helps a lot however...

Very colorful water fowl Rense - those are good shots for any lens. I really like the Duck one that looks like he is about to take off. Some of them are so still they look like decoys. Well done.

I really like that first shot Rense. With all the algae on the ducks face the pic seems the perfect visual for an anti-fertilizer runoff ad.

They haven't come out too badly at all Rense.
The colours are good, and although the bokeh is typically harsh it's not too distracting here.

love the green reflection on the water, 3 is very good, maybe it could even be cropped vertical including only the main bird
