Changing Light
Posted By: Jimbo, 09-26-2009, 12:29 PM

These photo's were shot about 1-2 minutes apart as the sun was rising and the fog was lifting. Interesting to see the slight changes in light and the way the photo turned out. I have Processed these as I normally would. Cheers. JIM

Fantastic series Jim! I like them all, but I love the light in the last two...

Thanks Josh. All this took only about 15-20 minutes. JIM

An excellent series and concept! Each shot is beautiful individually but putting them together really brings a completely different context to them. If I could get myself up early enough in the morning, I would love to try this time series in other locales.

Thank you for commenting. I wanted to show eaveryone how just a little light change can effect the image and being there early is important on any morning shot. Not bad this time of year when sunrise is 7:30'ish where in the summer you have to get up at 5:00 AM. Cheers. JIM

Lovely shots. Very cool to look at them on my laptop's screen, and quickly scroll through the photos... it's almost an animation!

Whoooa!

They are great Jim, good stuff!

Probably already been suggested, but try a black & white conversion on the misty ones. Can have a truly mystical effect.
