After the sunset...
Posted By: goddo31, 09-27-2009, 08:20 AM

Taken in Burns Beach, Perth, with DA 55-300 just after I missed a nice sunset!

C&C welcome, as always.

cheers,
Jason

Nice firey colours although the subject matter is lacking - nothing in the image draws me to looking more into it.

I love the colors - sunset over the water is one of my favorite subjects. Well done.

Brilliant color, but just nothin' there, otherwise. I would love to have seen the sunset, though.

I see something there... There is a boat in on the right side of the photo in the water! I like it!

I really like the colors in the sky. The tiny rogue cloud breaks it up a little bit and my attention keeps getting drawn to it.

Oops - I missed reading some of these replies.

Thanks for the comments!

XTC - thanks. It was a tanker or cargo ship of some kind in the distance.
dankuno - the tiny cloud drew my attention when I was taking the shot. I'm glad your attention is drawn to it also in hindsight I'm wishing it was a bit more prominent though.

cheers,

I like it a lot - I spend a fair amount of time near the ocean, and this image makes me smell the sea breeze. Well done.

Thanks Jer.
I am happy to live very close to the ocean.
