Went out an evening with a friend and took a couple of shots, here is one of those. Shot with K-7 and kit 18-55 wr. Sorry for my english.

From an exposure standpoint, that is a pretty good start. I think you'll get the hang of everything pretty quick. Keep shooting! If this is close to your home, try going back over numerous occasions to see it from different perspectives.

Welcome and well done for a first go.
Long exposures take a little getting used to but you got a good result here.
