Show Me Your Bridge (Utah Workshop)!!
Posted By: Ole, 09-29-2009, 08:31 PM

I thought it would be fun if the participants in Marc's Utah work shop would hit each other with shots of the Hickman Bridge!

The rules are simple -

Only one photo per post.

You may reply to the most recent post, but with one photo only (per post). You may not reply to your own post. So we take turns, sort of randomly!

Let's go!

Here is my first entry - K10D, DA 12-24:

OK, I recanted and grabbed a RAW file from our last morning on the Sept. 17th - 20th workshop. K10D, F/7.1, ISO 100, 1/160 second, upsized to 6144 x 4113 pixels (25.3MP):

I like how the exposure allows the capture of the shadowed areas so nicely - still trying to figure that out...

Regards,
Marc

Tripped.... yea a likely story. I think some one pushed you for getting in the frame. I'm sure it must have been that Jim guy.

Or maybe it was Dave, you know how those Canadians are

Listen you two don't make me get my hockey stick out and tie you guys to the chesterfield for a thrashing aboot eh

Here's one similar to Marc's view although not upsized and well not as good (damn teacher posting in the students threads )and I'll bet his was 7,1 (just kidding like you don't know eh)

click on image foir larger view

And Ole yes the clouds came for a few minutes - they were a fleeting bunch most of our two days there. A few were appear in the deep blue sky just for some shots it was very nice of them, and then they would disappear as quickly as they came. At times they would come to completely fill the sky for a little rain. We had it all and it changed so quickly.

Grant was back there with me as well so he should have some "other side of the bridge shots" as well (this was after I tripped him )
