The Weekend's Waterfalls
Posted By: knumbnutz, 10-04-2009, 02:12 AM

Hi All,

Just tried out my new waterfall lens DA12-24 and have the results back.
Tell me what you think.

Cheers Neil

Good captures.
Got the silky smooth water effect well.
The sky makes it a little hard with the distracting highlights, bringing down contrast in the important parts of the image.
Otherwise well done.

I like how on the first one the trees set up a rhythm with the water

Beautiful!! I'm a fan of the first one also but now you got the LBA going for the 12-24.

A great lens indeed and a great shot - such colors and vegetation.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
I'm so glad the lens works so well and was well surprised to find that there was no PF considering the strong backlighting.

Was ND filter used to take these pictures? Is it a slim style?

Both great photos. Love the composition of the second pic. I've already decided my next lens will be the 12-24.
