October is here
Posted By: juanraortiz, 10-04-2009, 09:48 AM

Hi! Today i went to see a roman empire ruins. But the most impressive for me is this clean air and soft light that autumn brings here. Itīs time to crop grapes, grain, nuts... and good lanscapes. This is only a humble attempt.

Very nice. But there is a color variation from one shot to another. (I like the colors in 2 and 3.) Otherwise, very well done: I can inspire that fresh air.

I liked 3 and 4 the best, maybe because the colours have more saturation? Nice catches anyhow!

1 and 5 are on the cyan side of colouring - others are nicer.
Well done with the captures - very pleasing to the eye.

Beautiful locale. I enjoyed them all but am partial to the temple and the church. The clouds in the temple picture almost look like they scoured the pillars down to the nubs that they are now.

Many thanks. The light was so soft that didnīt burn the colours.

I think that it must be nice to live in an area of the world with such a rich European history and beauty.

I also know that many times it is difficult for a person who is intimately familiar with a scene or has grown up surrounded by the beauty to realize what beauty lies before them. To see the beauty in familiar scenes and to put them into pictures is indeed an art. To be able to take our every-day and turn it into beauty for someone elses enjoyment is true art. I admire your ability to do that. I am still striving to achive that skill.
