Haliburiton Highlands area.
Posted By: JMR, 10-05-2009, 10:37 AM

Three images from my vacation in the Haliburton Highlands area. All decidedly on the soft side. A gentle rain was falling on the lake in the first image. None are manipulated, the second is a pan shot which I lightened a bit to retain the ethereal quality of the subject matter. The third is light on the ripples as the wind blows. Hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I did just being there.

Nice series - #1 is almost an impressionist painting, and #2 is a true abstract.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Cheers

Many thanks guys. If you like autumn, you have to go to the Algonquin park area or Quebec (Laurentians) and to the Eastern US states.
