Street Portrait of a Friend

DA 35mm Ltd, wide open at f/2.8. Just a snapshot, but I love the way it came out. Incredible detail--really reminds me why I love this lens.

B&W looks better, it seems to me. Superb detail and sharpness.

I like them both... but I think I am leaning towards the color... I like the subtle hues in his eyes that get lost in the conversion... what a lens!

Why don't you give it a try and show us?

I prefer the bw version, but maybe you could try making the eyes clearer, as they are better in the colour version!

The colour one could do with some PP boosting but both are just excellent.
You must have been pretty close up to get that one.
Very sharp capture.

That's an in your face shot for sure - I prefer the color.

Yeah, it was about a foot or two away, probably. That's an uncropped shot.

I don't like the tint of the color shot. I like the B&W much better. Superb detail and sharpness, but almost too much as you can see a pimple! Should be an easy fix in PP.
