The one and only time I got a deal buying a lens I won an auction described as a K-mount 28mm f/2.8 that was instead a KA-mount 24mm f/2. I had my suspicions based on the shape and size of the lens. £21 later I had purchased what is one of my favourite lenses.

This Vivitar is similar to the 28mm lens marked K03 in the Vivitar Bestiary, except that the filter ring is 52mm. It was made in 1984. Here are some recent pictures from a walk around my town. I have hyped the cyan to give a certain feeling to the sky.

Congrats on the new lens - I like #2 the best nice sky color. In the last few the color seems a bit off but it could be my againg eyes and or my monitor.

Your eyes are fine, it's my PP. I used one of my film emulation curves but can't remember which.

The sky looks toxic. Don't do that again, it's awful. No film does that, unless it's horribly aged and in need of immediate disposal. Whip out an old SLR and use Kodak Ektar 100. It's cheap to buy and cheap to develop at Costco (or Price Club).

Your advice is useless to me as I don't live in the USA but in a place where film is not cheap to buy nor develop properly. I just spent 15 euros on one roll of 120 Neopan 400 and got back rubbish. Now that is something I won't do again!

Sometimes I want to show "toxic" skies. They go well with wires and rust. Sorry, but I am all too likely to do it again.
