Went to the nation's capital, and this is what I saw

On every trip I've made to various parts of the U.S. I've been appalled at the amount of litter in the cities, out in the desert, on the beaches...everywhere. Sadly, I believe that Canadians are becoming as thoughtless when it comes to adding to this type of pollution as their neighbours to the south. I cannot understand why it is harder to carry away an empty container than it was to carry it full to where they abandoned it....
