These are hand held, zoomed in about 30% and resized is all. I have to wait a few days for my new Tripod and Head to arrive but I had to test it out just too see how it did.

I knew I should have included a hummingbird in one of my recent example photo post but I doubt this Pentax-F 100-300 is smart enough to find one and slow down it's motion the way you have.

The name of the album is Who Else!
Jeff Beck is not all blues though. If sometimes maniacal, phrenetic, somber but always inventive electric guitar with jazz, rock, blues and just plain knock your socks off style is your bag - get this album. You can sample the songs on Amazon and I think I noticed they have a few used copies for less than $5 with shipping. YouTube has some great live performances to illustrate how well the guy and guitar energize one another.

Thanks Matt I been listening to Beck since the 60's but I been so busy with photography I missed that cd and I'm sure many others. I have over 2ooo cd's mostly Blues and Classic Rock.

Well these are very nice results from this beast of a telezoom. The last one particularly has a lovely bokeh and microcontrast.

I realized that I had the Shake Reduction turned off to, I guess they are pretty good for hand held.... Thanks everyone

I just won one of these lenses on Ebay (arrived yesterday), have to say it seems a very capable bit of kit.

#1 is very nice, the hummers look a bit dark to me.
