Thanks, I'm really hoping to expand from scenery, and landscapes to some mountain biking and improve my portraits, so I'll keep you folks busy with critiques soon!

Its not your computer ... its lightroom. I have a top-of-the-line workstation that is less than a year old and lightroom crashes and gets hung up all the time

Very good to know, I am running a 1.1Ghz AMD athalon with 1.75gig ram, so I am definatly pushing my luck... photoshop crashed 3 times in a row trying to make an HDR image...

Very nice shots.

cb750r your system might be needing an upgrade for LR.

Kunik, not sure what's causing you problems with LR, I'm running v2.5 64bit on a quad core intel q6600 at 3.6ghz with 4gig of ram and it runs fine, never have any issues and runs fast. My system is not top of the line, close to it, but not the top.
