I started the morning off at the local Fly-in breakfast and Hot Rod show.
Lenses that I chose to take with me were my kit lens, DA 18-55mm, the DA 50-200mm, My Zenitar 16mm f2.8, and a very old and trusty SMC M 50mm f1.7. there was fun for all. I filled 3gig and had a great breakfast.

Well on with the results.

First up were some shots with the Zenitar.
And a great looking 30 Chevy.



Next. some Fords.





Then some abstract shots.



A fully blown 350 chevy.



A great looking Ford.



And finally a very nice couple dressed in 30's era. One very sexy young lady and a handsome guy in a Zoot suit, Standing in front of a 1953 Dodge pickup.



Oh and I had to get this in. A Hot Roders toy.

Very nice cars indeed. I like the "abstract" flower and the fully blown 350 chevy image best! I think the zenitar images may lack some contrast.

Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Really cool, David. Makes me want to sing - "tach it up, tach it up - buddy gonna shut you down."

Seriously, this second set of pictures represents some outstanding car shots. Congrats.

totally agree with Sailor - that last shot is really great - I like #4 from the first set too (the window detailing).

Very nice angles you picked in that 2nd set of shots - and the 1st set - you guys and your Zenitars - stoke the LBA fire.

Excellent shots David I too especially love the interior of that 39 Ford. I agree with Jer, but the song I was thinking of was Charlie Ryan's "Hot Rod Lincoln".

These are awesome! I like the Z-photo effect on the first ones and you've shown a wide set of different types of car photos - the reflections, the parts, the insides, the whole car... I really like the scooter. I could deal with one of those!
