Pentax K10D and Raw
Posted By: Eastern Shore Charlie, 05-28-2007, 04:15 PM

Just thought I would share some of my shots from this weekend. I shot them all in ISO 800 by mistake (I forgot to change the ISO setting.) but luckily I have been experimenting in raw so I could get some really nice shots with very little post processing in Adobe LR. The combo of Pentax K10D and raw is pretty impressive combo...What do you think?

Thanks...The little feller was pretty intense checking people out at a local fair. The eyes on the owls were awsome. I went Sunday to take some pictures of people at the local fair, but saw this display of owls from the State of MD DNR . I first thought the owls were not alive. Then I saw one blink and that was all she wrote. I never did take pictures of any people.....

Hi Charlie, that owl sure is dramatic! Nice capture. Actually my favorite is the sculpture of the girl in front of the rose trellis. Don't know specifically what it is, but I find it especially appealing.

I saw the strange 2 color orange flowers at a small town near me ( third picture down) and stopped to ask what kind of flower it was and asked if I could take pictures of it. The person I asked told me it was her nieghbors flowers and did not know what type of flower it was, but she had beautiful roses in her backyard and asked if I wanted to take pictures of them. She was in her late sixties and was very proud of her rose garden. Once I saw the rose garden I was impressed too with the peacefulness of the mood it gave you and took the picture of it.

Five nice shots Charlie but the two birds do it for me, especially the eagle.

Take care, Heinrich

Very nice bird shots. Is that a female screech owl?

Owls are cool

Since you enjoyed the Owls so much ...like me ....I thought I would post a couple more shots... of course I had to play with B&W on the one Owl. The little Owls are Screech Owls. Glad you liked them....thanks...
