Day at the zoo
Posted By: FruitLooPs, 10-12-2009, 12:05 AM

Testing out my recent purchase, a well used 300mm F4 Tak pre-set prime on the K20D.

Tiger

Lioness (thru wire fence, which causes the odd contrast)

Shifty Meerkat

Rhymenocerous

Antelope sharing an inside joke

Cheetah

Enjoy

Nice detail in all of these - well done.
Brilliantly captured with this old classic.
Your focusing is impeccable.

Thanks guys, it sure was a challenge without a split screen with the focusing I can tell you! Most of it shot around F5.6-F8. I still have plenty to learn on the focusing front.

It's a Model II version ~ 1965-1968 I think. 1.5kg single coated F32 max aperture rubber ring version. Cost $110USD, but then another $50US shipping Either way i'm pleased enough with it.
