Last weekend, we (the whole little family) took a ride on the country roads for the autumn Festival of colors in the Eastern townships (Québec).
After a couple hours drive, we fell in a little town named Fitch Bay, near the Memphrémagog Lake.
There is a legend that lives in this little country town that states there is a haunted house. Well, it's on that house that we fell upon.
The house, as you can see, is just plain gorgeous. Colors are beautiful and a lot of details runs on that house.....and I do mean LOTS of little details.
View from the entrance on the main road, North side of the house:
View from the main entrance, West side of the house:
Gargoyles on the steps of the two main doors:
And when I was talking about details, here are some examples.
The tower, with interesting woodwork and a huge wind vane witch:
Another example of the woodwork details on the edge of the roofs, even the lamps are custom made with some figurines on top of the doors:
And finally, the road we took to get there, with the beautiful autumn colors. Perfect for a car enthousiast like me
Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed beeing there and taking those pictures
