Trying out new SMC 28mm M 2.8
Posted By: bbluesman, 10-13-2009, 10:11 PM

Recently purchased this 28mm from member afroed. I've been shooting mostly with my 50's so this was an adjustment where I needed to move closer as opposed to stepping back like I do with 50. Anyway, a few shots from first test. Apologies to any vegetarians... It seems 28 much quicker focus than 50 or less fussy overall. I know the 50 is worth the fuss. Anyone concur on this point? Love the Asahi name on the lens cap

Sharp captures.
Well done.
That umbrella looks well suited to be a reflective umbrella...

Thanks Ash and you know sometimes when you least expect it...I've done quite a bit of umbrella business and have numerous samples. Will try that out. If I succeed will post a few.
