Thought I'd go and take some bird shots and here is what I have to share! Also I created a blog the other day and described my adventure and techniques for everyone to maybe learn something about how I got some of these and where so please stop by and have a look. My Blog

Thanks guys I really appreciate the kind words, makes me feel good after a long night. Ugh, I'm falling apart but at least the pictures still look pretty

I'm just glad the swan got close enough for me to use the Sigma 105mm macro, makes me really want to go out and buy a longer sigma, but money is tight for right now so maybe some other month when my funds pool isn't dry.

Of course the last one is a bird, I bet if I tossed it out the window it would fly for a while

Ok, I'm not that mean, but I could be if he bit me

Nice pic's Chris, I like the second one the best.

I'd almost say save up and try getting a Sigma 135-400 APO. They are heavy, and some people say soft, but I hardly touch any other longer focal lens since I got mine. Not to mention they're more affordable than anything else that comes close to it

(I got mine for $500.00 Canadian, New, last 1 left in Canada)
I'd loan you my Sigma 75-300 APO if we lived close enough.
