Changing Light
Posted By: Jimbo, 10-17-2009, 11:07 PM

I had a chance to go out with a great Pentax guy after we completed a two hour lecture from Art Wolf in Lynnwood WA. [skinja] John, it was a pleasure as always bud and thank Ronda for a great dinner. On the way back to John's house we decided to stop and shoot a few pictures. Here are a couple from today showing slightly different lighting. Looking forward to going out again in the near future bud! Cheers JIM

Yes, the murky sky in #1 does add an element of magic to the scene.
Well done.

Mate your first picture would have to be my favourite. The dramatic darkness of those clouds up against the golden reeds are brilliant.

Thank you Grant. It was a very interesting day as far as weather. We seen some of the hardest rain I have seen for years. John spotted a car hitting the ditch. [water planing] and for awhile it was very tough to see the road. John and I got this spot by one of those "lets see what's donw here" Nice catch John. JIM
