One from the Arizona desert
Posted By: skinja, 10-19-2009, 07:20 AM

I had friend come down this week end, we went down to a photo seminar, that evening he came over for dinner before he went home.

After dinner we went thru some of my pictures from over the years and as I was fumbling threw my library of the good, the bad and the ugly, oh my god a lot of ugly's, he asked me, let me see my top ten favorite. I realized that I had never categorized for my best of the best. Don't get me wrong I have lots of favorites but they are usually hidden away within their sub directory, I just never added a my favorite tag to the catalog, so I could pull them together at a moments notice, how many of you have this same problem? I can be so damn fickle, today I like this one, tomorrow it's just OK. Now I have a quest to go threw 23,000 + pictures and build a my fav category so I don't look so silly when I share my photo's with friends and family.

Anyway here is one that I really like today, I hope you like it also. It fits with the theme of the weekend for us, Go Low.......

CC always welcome.

Thanks for looking,

John

That is a stunner of a shot John - great framing , nice perspective I reallyu like it there is so much going on in that shot.

I have a similar delima I have no best of the best catagorized and have enough photo's now where it is a daunting task but I think as you mention worthwhile.

John, this is seriously good. It's truly arresting - for all the reasons others have mentioned.

Very nice capture. There is so much going on in this picture but it works well. The sky is very interesting.

Thanks Dave, no time like the present, started going threw 23,000 photos, OK its not as daunting as it may sound I have long strings of photos that only have personal family value, like I think I could dump 10k or so with out to much trouble..... but uncle Joe is in it and he has passed, those kind you know what I mean. Good luck on your journey.
