I think it's going to rain
Posted By: skinja, 10-20-2009, 06:22 AM

Jimbo and I were driving home from our days adventures, You know all those forboding clouds that Jimbo captured so well. We get to meet up with them again, they were not as pleasant the second time. I've seen it rain before, you know really rain......... can't see threw the windshield kind of rain, well it was every bit of that.

Getting ready for the down pour.

Great shot John. How did the ones of the rain coming down turn out? It was really bad for about 20 minutes. JIM

Not good, not good at all. It was pretty dark in the car and outside by that point.

No saving them.

Have a good day Jimbo.

Mike, it reminded me of the photo you took when the rain was pounding down. I think you were heading our on a shoot that day and had to turn back. JIM

Am I the only one who sings an Alice In Chains song when he reads the topic title?

Nice shot! I talked with my mom (down in Everett) a few days ago and she mentioned the rain y'all were getting out there. Just look at the positive side - you can get rain clouds like that and you don't have to worry about tornados coming out of 'em... Out here in Nebraska, we really get concerned when we see 'em this dark.

Jim

(yeah I know a tornado *could* occur, but the chances of one there are a damn sight lower than anything I would worry about)

When I was a lot younger but just a little dumber, my cousin and his buddies and I looked forward to those kind of clouds back in Nebraska, We would all jump in the car with a case or two of beer and chase the storms hoping to find a tornado or two, nothing better to do in Pierce on a hot muggy summer day for a bunch of delinquint teenagers, OK maybe I was a lot dumber.
