Hocking Hills State Park

Hey everyone,

Today I headed over to hocking hills to capture some of the fall color and shoot the waterfalls before winter. It was a brisk morning but it turned into a truly great day to take some pictures. All these shots were made with the SMC A 35-105 f/3.5 and a polarizer on my K20D.

Hope you enjoy them, and C&C is appreciated.
Cory

Not sure about the first image, but the others are very good. Is no-5 rotated from the vertical?

Thanks for the comments guys, I too was unsure of the first one, but I was curious as to what other people thought of it. JMR, #5 is exactly as I took it except with some contrast added in PP.

Cory, I enjoyed the last three images very much. My wife and I were there sunday, and it was crowded, and some parking spots were so full that there were no areas to park. I posted some bird shots I took, but the sun was too harsh for any landscape shots, and it was too crowded for a proper set-up. Also, the foilage were rather dull compared to the usual hocking hills fall colors-may be it was too early, or the erratic temerature we've had. We had a blast, hope you enjoyed it as well....

Thanks for the comments pcarfan, when I went yesterday it was still somewhat crowded; however, it was no where near being full. I was at Cedar Falls for almost two hours and by the time I finished and returned to the parking lot it was pretty much full. As for the colors they were really amazing yesterday; however, due to the harsh sunlight they were difficult to capture. Fortunately, I had a great time and was amazed by the amount of photographers there and even made friends with a canon owner from West Virgina who drove two hours to get there for the day.
