Finally fall in the Cascades · 09:57 PM

I mentioned in my last post that I returned to the Beckler and North Fork Skykomish River Valleys the following day to capture the fall color that's really popping out. A lot of portrait compositions. Hmm...

If that wasn't good enough for me, I also got about a half dozen nice photos of a Dipper splashing around in the river which was pretty cool.

#3 is almost surreal with those colored blurred reflections. Amazing...

#9 should be a poster hanging on the wall!

Thanks for all the positive comments!

While I obviously have to do some of the work, I'm very blessed to live in an area that's so diverse and rich for photo opportunities throughout the year. I also had no set agenda on this day so I was really able to get into it and just feel things out without any pressure.

I might head back this weekend again since there were whole areas that I never got to.

Very very nice... I can't pick a favorite. I love the fall colors in the Cascades - I was there last year, and the vine maple were spectacular.
