Before and After and a Spider with a difference
Posted By: Warped, 10-20-2009, 11:21 PM

Some of what I've been up too lately.

Before:
A dry lake bed that looks like a salt flat and is 5 minutes from my place normally looks like this (taken last year and earlier this year, posted some of these before - apologies for the repeats):

After:
But after the winter rains it's full of water, though only ankle deep at the deepest part, and now looks like this (taken on the weekend just gone):

....and now for something completely different:
I did a shoot for a local maker of custom dungeon furniture and put this together as a bit of fun from 3 or 4 shots.

Cheers,

Wayne.

All with K100D and Sigma 28-80 Asperical and a Circ-Pol filter used for the lake-bed shots.

G'day Wayne - love your unique flair to your portrait work.
Second one's well posed. Favourite's the second last one, crouched down - excellent lighting balance and emotive look.
Well done.

Very interesting shots. Love the stance in #2, great reflection in #3.

The last one is quite disturbing, but it brought a smile to my face. Well done.

As always your work is awesome! I love what you did with the 4 arms and 4 legs to bring out the spider them for the web of chains.
