Portraits of some of the reenactors at the 2009 Battle of Cedar Creek reenactment in Middletown, VA. Due to the sheer number of shots and the color/sepia treatments I am just posting the thumbnails in this thread with links to larger versions. Just click the photo you are interested in to see it larger. Sepia conversion done using PS3's B&W conversion with a tint applied.

Very enjoyable series Mike! I do like #10 a great deal. The reenactors did a fine job of not showing evidence of modern equipment.

It's interesting how my perspective(s) changed a great deal after discussing quite a few things in depth with the historical interpreter at our civil war museum. I've changed my shooting style a bit as a result, no question!

I've never been to one of these events but what a great photo op. You certainly made the best of it Mike.

Very nice, I like #3 series the best. I have been to several of these this year because of the great subject matter. I particularly like the challenge of trying to get a blast if they fire any guns or canon. Good luck with your submission.
