Crazy sharp detail in #2.
Nice all around, although is it my eyes or is the last one a tad oversharpened?

Yeah, they all look oversharpened to me, too. Sometimes the image hosting service does that, though.

They're all cute shots, though.

That second shot is startling! Great! Now, tell us again how you're planning to sell that 100-300mm, and you don't really need a telephoto ...

Ash, thank you very much. The last one definitely went through many more steps of sharpening than the others. I am glad you are telling me what you see, as I sharpen until I don't see any artifacts in my computer and to my eyes, but knowing what others are seeing is EXTREMELY helpful.

Thank you very much...you are correct that they were all sharpened and most to a more significant amount than I usually do. I did it as much as I can before I thought any artifacts showed up. I can tell from the water droplets that they are sharpened, but I think they are ok. I will be very obliged if you can tell me whether you see any other artifacts, and what gave it away. Thank you so much...I appreciate your time.

THIS IS OPEN TO EVERYONE WHO IS WILLING TO TAKE THE TIME TO TELL ME, WHAT ARTIFACTS THEY SEE THAT GIVE THE SHARPENING AWAY.....IT WILL BE A LEARNING EXPERIENCE TO EVERYONE AND CERTAINLY WILL BE FOR ME...THANK YOU

LOL....you got me. I am loving the FA24/2 as well man....I took the DA21 and FA43 to the park yesterday, and after a few shots changed it to the FA24, i like it's focal length. 21 is a tad too wide. I love the 43, but at time too wide, especially for fall pictures.

LOL, I wrote that after I took these. but I only recently processed them. But I have to say 99% were crap, as it is awfully difficult to fight the bright sun with the white feathers. I am happy with a few shots like these.

I am keeping the 100-300, it was temp. insanity that made me write that. Now, I am super happy with the lenses I have. But, I am in a casual hunt for the FA20/2.8 to see what it can do and be ready for the FF .

Thank you for your compliments.
