K200D as film scanner
Posted By: goddo31, 10-23-2009, 08:54 AM

Finally got a 'scan' setup that I am reasonably happy with. Basically I set up my K200D on a tripod, filled the frame with the film print and went from there..
Also bounced some flash, which you might be able to see in a couple of places.

Shots originally taken with ME Super and M50 1.4

2. Think this one needs a little more work, but I still like it

Doesn't do too badly - I've done this with some of my films with varying succes.
Does tend to cause significant washout effect, reducing highlight detail in particular, but is a cheap way to go!
Nice car shots - a Ford guy, eh?

No, not at all, I'm actually into imports and skylines!
But have no problem taking a shot of anything shiny and well looked after.

My car will appear on here eventually, when it's up to scratch...
