Picture within a Picture
Posted By: Jimbo, 10-24-2009, 02:02 PM

I have been playing around with taking different lenses at the same locations. Here are a few from my favorite location. I used a CPL and stacked two ND's [6 and 8] on my Pentax 12-24. Same set up on my Sigma 70-200. Luckly they take the same filter size [77] These were shot at about 5 seconds at F22 on all three. Normallyh I would shoot these at around F9 range but wanted to try something. Anyway, have a few more to process. JIM

Again for me, it was #3 that took my breath away.
Amazing that there can be so much diversity in the images you get from the same spot.
Beautiful Jim.

Thanks John. You are right, I would have never notice this if we didn't attend the 2 hour talk put on by Art Wolfe. So far everyone prefers the third one or the picture within a picture. JIM

Great stuff! I could live with #2 but #3 is very emotive. I have noticed that post processing can bring out hidden details as well as dust and other blemishes that wern't as visible in the original

Thank you for commenting and I agree though most of what was on the image I believe was dew. I thought I got most off. JIM
