B&W Landscape
Posted By: Jimbo, 10-27-2009, 02:55 PM

I posted this one in color over the weekend. Converted to B&W and I now prefer this one. JIM

Mystical.
Excellent capture for form and atmosphere.
Looks a little unsharp on my screen - or perhaps its the compression.
Nice one anyway.

I am trying not to over sharping the B&W shots. I also put a little more contrast in this one versus the color which can effect the look somewhat. I did loose some form taking it from a 6 mg shot to under a mg for sure. JIM

This is an excellent BW conversion and it really makes the fig come alive.

Thanks Peter. The color was shot at around 138mm and this one is at 200mm with the Sigma lens. Found the conversion worked well on this one. JIM
