Love the kingbird shot, the branches all seem to lead your eye directly to him. Great shot. All three are good, the catbird shot has amazing detail, pity the tail was cut out but it's still an amazing shot you can see his tiny whiskers.

Nice Kingbird image, and the Catbird is excellent nicely done even with the tail cropped out . Must admit though, that is about the last type of environment I would think that one might see a catbird...especially that close up.

Kingbird

I like the Kingbird shot. The perch really helps make the composition a winner.

Two thumbs up!

The Kingbird is here my favorite but that doesn't mean that the others are worse. Guess it's the background that makes it pop. - Ronny

Thanks for the replies everyone! Its hard for me to decide which one I like better (catbird or kingbird).. the lighting on the catbird was great (even if was moving so much I cropped his tail out hehe).

One thing that I'm happy about is the ability to use ISO800 for those two shots. There has been so much debate recently (more on dpreview) about how ISO 800 is so unusable on the K10D I'm happy (at least in my case) ISO800 is very usable.

Also loving SR with the light 400mm lens. The Catbird shot was actually taken handheld at 1/125!

Thanks again everyone for commenting
