Sox Vs. Yanks Friday Night (6 shots)
Posted By: vievetrick, 06-03-2007, 07:10 AM

Well my team could not get a win Friday night. But none the less it is always a fun trip to Boston when the Evil Empire is in town. Nothing to special about the shots but just thought I would share. Comments welcomed . All shot with the K10 most of them with the Sigma 70-200 2.8 All resoized and some minor adjustments and sharpening

Pre Game ceremonies honor the 67 Impossible Dream Team. I love the K10. Shot this from way back but a little cropping and I still have a decent shot.

Not a great shot as the highlights are shot but still I like the shot. He was safe this time.

Exposure Time 1/750 sec
F-Number F2.8
Exposure Program Aperture priority
ISO Speed Ratings 800

I moved around behind home plate and got a few shots. Damon eyes a pitch from Snyder ( I think) the ball is there, blending with the runner on second.

Exposure Time 1/500 sec
F-Number F2.8
Exposure Program Aperture priority
ISO Speed Ratings 800

With some work I could remove the head but still decent shot from the stands.

Exposure Time 1/750 sec
F-Number F2.8
Exposure Program Aperture priority
ISO Speed Ratings 800

My first Super Model shot. Christey Brinkley

Nice shots, although my son would disagree on the "evil empire" statement. The question I have is where did you get the Sigma 70-200 F/2.8??? I ordered one from Adorama early May and they told me it won't be delivered unitl sometime in July. When I e-mailed Sigma they said it wouldn't be out until mid-summer?

I like the 4th shot the best as the ball was captured in the shot before the hit.

The crowd looks quite interesting too.

Thanks for sharing

Great shots Pat, too bad it was a disappointing game. My favorite part was when all the blond masks came out. One of these days I get up there and see them play.

If you get the chance let me know. I may be in NY in late August to see the Sox Vs. Yanks at the stadium. Your mental stability seems okay to me.

Hi Pat,

Great shot, thanks for sharing!

I don't get the A-Rod/masks joke. I know he's been in the news for a few things lately, but I don't get the connection???

Oh, that is too funny. I didn't realize he got caught doing that. The resemblance isn't that good, though.

Love action shots and you did well - man the angle of the ball comming from the mound looks like a high heater ! Safe at third and nice carpture of the hit (was it a hit ? He looks like he was a little ahead of that pitch again maybe it is the angle)

I think it was then angle, but it could have been a little high. The hit I can't remeber if it was fair or foul. thanks for looking and commenting.

For sure not bad for a 53. I am pretty sure she is 53.
